Getting through Life with a Positive Attitude

Man, life has dealt me some horrible hands, but all in all I was lucky enough to have traveled and dove all over the world. I have to say that meeting my friend Nancy and her husband (now deceased) took us to some great places. I would likely have never taken myself to a place called Papua New Guinea unless they hadn't gone before us and told us how incredible this place was. Then we watched a film one night narriated by Richard Atwood called "Papua New Guinea: Land of the Unexpected"... I think Atwood was his last name. He has narrated many a wonderful film. After we first visited Walindi Plantation I felt I was marrying a new land. My heart became entangled in all of the rich rainforests, the people, and the diving. Max Benjamin became a very close friend. To this day, we have a standing invitation to come back to his mecca. It's been a long time and now saddled with this disease I am not sure at least for now that I could make that trip again. I was fortuante enough to make it five times, spending as much as two months on one visit.

While it has taken me a while to see that there is life with Trigeminal Neuralgia and Anesthesia Dolorosa; I have begun to see a light shining within me that is ready to share my life, my stories and my photography. I'm going to make it afterall and inspite of it all.

For The Birds in Sanibel, Florida

I took some of the photos or all of them in Ding Darling Bird Sancturary in Sanibel, Florida... at my friend's Nancy's place. I have to call her to see how she is doing. With the Gulf Oil Spill O, I just hope we can get it before it reaches her beaches.
